Dropping The Pounds

Started my weight loss journey today, gonna try my best to stick to it. Currently, I weigh 200 lbs with the height of 160 cm, for my height that is surely too much weight. I am for planning to lose about 20 lbs over the next three months. Weight loss has always been a challenge for me, this time I’m just gonna put in the hard work and kept focus on my goal which is weighing 180 lbs by September.

How do I plan to drop the pounds? These are some of the steps that I am going to be taking to help with the weight loss:

  • Drinking lots of water
  • No carbonated drinks
  • No junk foods
  • More veggies and fruits
  • Working out twice daily 25-30 minutes for each session

  1. Good luck Valerie!! Be kind to yourself and know that you are beautiful no matter what. Love your workouts and if two a day becomes too much, one a day is certainly enough. Approach this journey with excitement and joy and know that you can do anything that you want to do. It gets easier as you get in better shape. I worked out for over two years and was in the best shape ever…then a couple of winters ago it was soooo cold that I hated getting out of bed in the morning to exercise so I stopped. I used to really love it, after the first three months. Now I’m trying to get myself motivate again, the best time for me is in the morning but that means getting up earlier and I’m not quite ready to do that yet, but I’m really close. I’ve gained most of the weight back that I lost and I really miss being in such good shape. I did the Jillian Michaels 90 day workout…boy that will work for anyone. This time around I want to do Yoga, something a little more gentle and I’d like to really get in touch with my mind, body and soul. Wishing you great success!! 🙂
