The struggled continued for the West Indies women in match 12 of the Women’s World Cup as they were totally humiliated by the South African women. Two young players debuted for the Windies on his day, Reniece Boyce 19 yrs and Qiana Joseph 16 yrs.

Batting first the West Indian women could only manage a score of 48 runs all out from 25.2 overs. Once again batting was a total failure for my Caribbean girls. They seriously need to reevaluate themseleves and extremely try to boost their batting. Top scoring for the Windies today was Chedean Nation who scored just 26 runs. The South African bowlers were just too good on the day ripping through the batting lineup. Getting the job done with the ball for South Afica were Marizanne Kapp who had figures of 4-14 (7 overs), Dane van Niekerk 4-0 (3.2 overs) and Shabnim Ishmail 2-16 (6 overs).
The run chase for the South Aficans was just too simple as they reached their target in just 6.2 overs with all 10 wickets remaining. This was truly a spectacular performance displayed by the South Africans.

With four more games left for the Windies to play there is still some hope that they could turn it around and get to the semis, just got to wait.
