Hey there readers, welcome to yet another edition of “Foodie Fridays”. Today I be showing you guys two simple ways to make granola bite size pieces.
Granola Bite Size Pieces
Ingredients:
- 2½ cups old fashioned oats
- ¼ cup shredded unsweetened coconut
- ¼ cup M&M’s
- ¼ cup sliced almonds
- ¼ cup chopped milk chocolate pieces
- 2 tbsps brown sugar
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- ¼ cup honey
- ½ tbsp vanilla extract
Process:
💥 Preheat oven to 350° degrees.
💥 Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
💥 Place oats on a large baking dish, toast in oven for 8-10 minutes, until golden brown.
💥 Once oats is toasted put in a large bowl.
💥 Over medium heat, add butter, sugar and honey in a small saucepan. Mix together until sugar is dissolved.
💥 Add honey-sugar mixture and vanilla extract to oats. Mix together until oats have been coated nicely.
💥 Put half of the oats mixture in another bowl, mix in M&M ‘s. Place mixture on baking dish pressing down and forming into a huge rectangle.
💥 Bowl with remaining oats, add almonds, coconut and chocolate pieces, mix well. Place mixture on baking dish pressing down and forming into a huge rectangle.
💥 Refrigerate for about 2 hours.
💥 Remove from parchment paper, breaking into bite size pieces with your hands or you could cut into smaller rectangles.
💥 Eat and enjoy.
